The Bible is the resource God has entrusted us with. Just a simple verse can excite you and stir your soul with renewed energy and hopefulness in your mind and heart.
In the words of Job, for example, he declared, “But he knows the way that I take: when he has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”
Remember, Job lost just about everything he owned. He was a wealthy man in ancient times. Some sources estimate his assets would be in the billions of dollars today. And yet his attitude brought him through untold misery, sorrow and suffering.
He knew God was with him and he would still come forth as gold no matter what befell him.
There are people who would say, “I shall come forth as tin, or bronze or silver.” That negative thinking is like a big ominous cloud they allow to saturate their brain. Not Job. “I shall come forth as gold.”
….and he did.
