ONE BY ONE (c) 2022

I marched into my mentor’s office some years ago. I asked him, “How on earth have you achieved so much success?”

Tom said immediately, “I’ve learned to take ‘em one by one. Whatever client I need to see, whatever project I want to tackle or whatever ‘hill I want to climb’ I stay focused and take ‘em one by one.

When I’ve tried to eat the whole elephant I get choked on being unconfident, baleful anxieties and poor retention with my clientele.

The key I’ve discovered is take ‘em one by one and as you do, make each one the most important thing in the whole wide world.”

This great principle my mentor taught me came to me recently after a client showed me this 2 day old Turkey—-he only picked up ‘one’ from a box of a hundred.
