SOOTHING INSTRUMENTAL SONGS(c)

Lei and I seem to resort to soothing instrumental songs very often in a given week. Growing up in the Fifties and Sixties we love to hear the Oldies. Invariably, however, either Lei or I will ask our digital grandchild, Alexa, to play Richard Clayderman music. The renown French pianist suddenly calms our souls with his exquisite and amazing piano music. Clayderman, the masterful maestro, has released numerous albums including the compositions of Paul de Senneville, Olivier Toussaint and Marc Minier, and especially instrumental renditions of popular music and awesome rearrangements of movie soundtracks; even ethnic music, and easy-listening arrangements of popular lyrics. In a world of so much anger, and informational garbage along with a limited amount of positive thoughts, Clayderman says it all. No! He tickles the ivory for one’s sanity. Just ask our digital grandchild….. Hope you guys have a great week
